Mid-Century Meets Boho: A 5-Star Eco-Luxury Sandton Airbnb The Project A sustainable, full-scale makeover of a two-bedroom apartment in the heart of Sandton, transformed into a high-yield short-term rental. The Challenge Our client needed a premium, photo-worthy Airbnb, but wanted to design responsibly. The goal? Elevate the space while minimizing waste by incorporating furniture already on-site. The Design Strategy Eco-Conscious Upcycling Instead of sending quality furniture to a landfill, we kept the original beds and built an entirely fresh, premium aesthetic around them. Curated Color & Texture We blended structured mid-century modern lines with relaxed modern boho warmth, using an earthy, vibrant palette of burnt oranges, greens, rich red and gold. The Commercial Edge While the apartment feels cohesive as a whole, we gave each bedroom a distinctly individual personality, giving guests a unique, memorable experience.
